MY STORY

Rooted in creativity,
built on experience

Growing up in Puerto Rico, celebration was woven into everything. Family gatherings, quinces, weddings they were full of color, warmth, and intention. That sense of gathering people around something meaningful never left me.

I've spent 7+ years working across events, floral design, marketing, and client experience and what I kept coming back to was the intersection of aesthetics and emotion. I started Kaliz & Co. to do exactly that: design events that feel stunning and deeply personal at the same time.

Based in the DMV, serving couples who want their wedding to be beautiful, thoughtful, and most importantly theirs.

    Founder & Designer

    I'm the friend who anticipates the details you haven't even thought of yet and builds a plan so airtight that on your wedding day, your only job is to show up and enjoy every second of it.

    I design celebrations that feel like family: thoughtful, lovingly executed, and packed with beautiful little details that feel like they were made just for you. Because they were.

    When I'm not in full planning mode, you can find me at book club where the book is honestly just the excuse to get together and the real magic is the people around the table.

  • Carolina is an event planner serving Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland with personalized celebrations, stylish event design, and seamless coordination.

    New to the team, not to the work. I'm bringing five years of coordinating high-level events straight to your celebration, and my thing is making sure every single detail is handled before you even think to ask about it.

    I wanted to do events that feel more personal so I took everything I know about strategic planning and poured it into milestone parties and corporate events that actually mean something.

    Oh, and I'm bilingual so every guest feels right at home, no matter what language home sounds like.

  • Our first meeting is about connection and clarity. We’ll discuss your event vision, priorities, and aesthetic goals. Afterward, we’ll send a tailored proposal outlining our process, scope, and investment options.

  • For weddings and large-scale social events, we recommend booking 8–12 months in advance to ensure availability and design development time.
    For corporate or brand events, 3–6 months is ideal depending on scope and production needs.
    That said, we occasionally accommodate shorter timelines — reach out to confirm your date.
